Problem Statement

Exposing University systems to the internet significantly increases the risk to University
information. This exposure most often occurs through firewall rules which allow access that is
greater than is necessary.

ISO Position

Any request for global access (for example, allow source “Any”) to any Princeton service
requires review and approval by the ISO before implementation.
