CANCELLED - Passwords & Beyond – Using Two-Factor Authentication

Fri, Oct 13, 2017, 11:05 am to 11:50 am

What better day than Friday the 13th to remind you that the Internet is a scary, scary place! With cybercrime on the rise, it is important to take additional precautions to protect your valuable information. While strong passwords are essential, two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra step to your basic log-in procedure. This extra step makes it harder for attackers to access devices and online accounts, because knowing the victim’s password alone is not enough to pass the authentication check.  Join us to learn how 2FA has changed the security landscape and how you can apply two-factor authentication to personal accounts.
